Gente Grande Bay, Tierra del Fuego, Chile, is one of the world’s best undeveloped wind corridors. TEG has designed a secure and strategic, off-grid power solution to harness this resource for on-site industrial and digital infrastructure partners.

Gente Grande Energy Project combines a world-class onshore wind resource with back-up gas turbines and battery storage to guarantee security of supply. With power generated and consumed entirely off-grid, the project bypasses grid queues and connection costs.

With port access on the Magellan Strait, digital connectivity, and natural cooling, the 37,000 hectare development site offers further cost efficiencies to on-site infrastructure partners, as well as a secure, geopolitically stable location.
